27/02/09		Systems and Services Certification		FSC Forestry Management - Update SGS has put in place a step-by-step program to lift the moratorium on the offering of FSC Forest Management certification services. SGS has evaluated each of its geographical markets and will lift the moratorium in a phased and a controlled manner. The moratorium is now formally lifted for certain countries.

01/10/08		Governments and Institutions		SGS TLTV first timber legality verification system to meet UK public procurement rules The SGS "Timber Legality & Traceability Verification" (TLTV) Program was evaluated by the Central Point of Expertise on Timber (CPET) against the Category B requirements for legality as set under the UK Government’s procurement policy on timber and timber products. The TLTV Program was found to be in compliance and is therefore, from now on, accepted as valid evidence of legality.
